I went to Gather Here today with the couple who won my Arlington St. Church auction quilt this year (Niall and John) and came home with lots of gorgeous fabric for my summertime quilting. Ahead in May is my submission to Crafting Democracy (top), then in June/July my attention will turn to the ASC quilts. Niall was taken by the cat print (middle left) and we built his throw quilt around that palette (middle). Because John wanted a different set of fabrics, I agreed to make a second quilt that will be a wall hanging (bottom) with an applique tree in the center. All three of these projects will have fun design elements that make them unique and I’m super excited to see how they turn out!
